Pricing Details

*Prices are in CAD. Please have your credit card, student number, and ceremony time on hand before beginning your registration. We accept Visa debit, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards for payment. Payment by credit/Visa debit card: AVS (Address Verification Security) requires correct billing address (address line one and/or postal code).

Bachelor and Master Gown and UWaterloo Hood:
Online Price: $55.00
Onsite Price: $70.00

PhD Gown, UWaterloo Hood, and Hat:
Online Price: $75.00
Onsite Price: $90.00

Email Order Confirmation

You will receive two emails once your rental registration is complete. Please only register once, if you would like to make changes please call or email us. Details below.

1. The first will be from Gaspard. This contains payment information. If you have used a credit card other than your own, it will show on this confirmation. The academic dress will be onsite in your name.

2. The second will be from Build-A-Grad. This confirmation contains all the necessary details regarding your rental, pick up, drop off, order number and amount paid if applicable, cancellation and refund information.

Regalia Pick-Up Instructions

Regalia can be picked up in Student Life Centre 1208/1212 60-90 minutes before your ceremony begins. Please bring a form of ID so that we can verify your order.

Regalia Drop-Off Instructions

Regalia can be dropped off back in the robing room, Student Life Centre 1208/1212, within an hour of your ceremony ending. Please remove any pins from your hood and gown prior to dropping off your hood and gown.

Cancellations

All cancellation request must be received before May 23, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Refunds will not be accepted after.
