CONVOCATION DETAILS
Welcome to the Alma Mater Society at Queen's University hood and gown registration system. Please note the above website and registration dates for all ceremonies.
Please have your credit card and student number on hand before beginning your registration. Please confirm the correct ceremony time as ceremonies are based on departmental concentration code, go to: www.queensu.ca/registrar/graduation/spring-2025-convocation.
ORDER CONFIRMATION DETAILS
You will receive two emails once your rental is complete.
The first will be from Gaspard. This
contains payment information. If you have used a credit card other than your own,
it will show on this confirmation. The academic dress will be onsite in your name.
The second will be from Build-A-Grad.
This confirmation contains all the necessary details regarding your rental, pick
up, drop off, order number and amount paid if applicable, cancellation and refund
information.
Please print these forms or bring them on your mobile device.
Visa Debit, Visa, MasterCard, or Discovery credit cards are accepted for payment. Payment by Credit Card or Visa Debit: AVS (Address Verification Security) requires correct billing address for Credit/Debit Card customers.

* Please note that Hood (and cap) only options are not available for same day rental and must be ordered online prior to the June 5 deadline.
Please note that on the day of convocation, you must rent entire packages, individual item rental is not
possible.
*Traditional regalia refers to the traditional and often sacred clothing, accessories, and artifacts worn or carried during
various ceremonies, such as powwows, celebrations, and pan-national gatherings. The design, type, and meaning of
regalia varies greatly depending on the individual who wears it, the culture from which it originates and the event
where it is worn.
REGALIA PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF INSTRUCTIONS
LAW, MBA AND MEDICINE PROGRAMS:
Regalia can be collected at Grant Hall, two hours prior to your graduation ceremony, drop off regalia at Grant Hall. Returns
will be open for one and a half hours following each ceremony.
ALL OTHER PROGRAMS:
Regalia can be collected at Leon's Centre, two hours prior to your graduation ceremony, drop off regalia at Slush Puppie Place.
Returns will be open for one and a half hours following each ceremony.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations and refunds for MAY 2025 CEREMONIES (LAW, MBA AND MEDICINE) orders must be received before May 3,
2025 at 11:59 pm.
All cancellations and refunds for JUNE 2025 CEREMONIES (ALL OTHER PROGRAMS) orders must be received
before June 5, 2025 at 11:59 pm.
