Ordering Instructions

Please make sure you have a credit/debit card, student ID, and the name of your degree ceremony time on hand before beginning. Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, and Discovery credit cards are accepted.

Please note: Payment by Credit Card or Visa Debit: AVS (Address Verification Security) requires correct billing address for Credit Card customers.

Please use your university assigned e-mail address. We cannot guarantee that you will receive your confirmation email if you use anything other than a valid Lakehead University email address.

Prices

Online Rental Fee: $50.00 + HST

On Site Rental Fee: $100.00 FLAT FEE

Email Order Confirmation

You will receive two emails once your rental is complete.

1) The first will be from Gaspard this contains payment information. If you have used a credit card other than your own, it will show on this confirmation.

2) The second email will be from Build-A-Grad. This email order confirmation contains all the necessary details regarding your order.

This confirmation number is REQUIRED to collect your Academic Dress for the convocation, please be sure to write it down, print these forms or bring them on your mobile device.

Cancellations

All cancellations for refund must be received BEFORE the dates below by campus. Refunds will not be accepted after this date.

Lakehead University Thunder Bay Campus: May 12, 2025 at 11:59 pm (EST)

Lakehead University Orillia: May 20, 2025 at 11:59 pm (EST)

Regalia Pick-Up and Drop-Off Instructions

Thunder Bay:

Pick-Up: Please arrive 90 minutes prior to the start time of your ceremony. You will need to pick up your regalia under the Big White Tent at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium. You will need your Order Confirmation when picking up your regalia, please have this handy.

Drop-Off: Regalia must be returned to Gaspard up to a maximum of one hour after your convocation ceremony. Regalia will be returned to the Agora (Thunder Bay).

Please note, these locations are different from where you picked up your regalia!

Orillia:

Pick-Up: Please arrive 90 minutes prior to the start time of your ceremony. You will need to pick up your regalia from the regalia table in the Entertainment Centre (Casino Rama). You will need your Order Confirmation when picking up your regalia, please have this handy.

Drop-Off: Regalia must be returned to Gaspard up to a maximum of one hour after your convocation ceremony. Regalia will be returned to the regalia table in the Entertainment Centre (Casino Rama).

Gaspard has scanned your rental items to your student ID. All rental regalia must be returned after your event. Unreturned items will be reported to your University or College and you will be charged for the regalia up to $800 depending on your degree.
